I don’t think they are interested in learning.

At least not from me. Or maybe I’m no longer interested in teaching. Maybe it’s because it’s Friday. Nobody seems curious. I’m tired of this being an adversarial relationship. Me against them. I’m for you, you dunderheads. Don’t you hear the jackboots coming? How many points off? Really? That’s all you’ve been trained to care about? Education cannot compete with social media and the Internet. And everybody should not go to college. There, I’ve said it. Especially since the sole purpose of a college education has been reduced to getting a job after you do your four years or whatever amount of time, and selling your labor to the highest bidder for the lowest wage they can get away with.
